Let's Squash It! Challenge #6 - Boxing Clever with Floral Embossing

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the sixth challenge here at

Let's Squash It!

Let's Squash It! is The Embossing Folder Challenge.  We are gonna help you explore the world of the not so humble embossing folder and encourage you to dig 'em out, knock the dust off and find old, new and fun ways to make your projects pop.

We have an awesome team to keep you entertained and awesome challenge themes to stretch your creativity and get you using all those long forgotten and neglected embossing folders.
For those of you who are just tuning in you can check the previous posts for the story behind the genesis of the challenge and the technique posts for awesome tips and techniques to help you make the most of your supplies and folders.

Challenges start on the 10th of the month and run to the last day at 23.59 GMT.  We will be picking top picks and a winner, who will have a chance to be our guest designer for a future challenge.  There is a little prize on offer for a randomly selected winner and these will all be announced on the 5th of next month.

So, Challenge #6
And this month's theme is

Use a Floral Embossing Folder AND Make/Repurpose a Box

Please use a FLORAL embossing folder or two or three and also make a BOX. You can re-use a box from your stash or make one from scratch and decorate, including at least one Floral embossing folder.  Please make sure you include both parts of the challenge on your card and also check da roolz to ensure your entry will be eligible for the random prize draw!

We are very pleased to have our Let's Squash It!! Empress joining us as our guest designer this month.  Please welcome Robyn

Big Hello Squashettes – Robyn here from sunny Queensland, Australia and my blog Waterlily Cards by Robyn. I’m thrilled to be Guest Designer this month at Let’s Squash It!  And thanks to Gail and Jo, I’m falling back in love with my embossing folders. I’m an addicted card maker which at the moment is sharing my time with my re-love of crochet and also squeezing in time for my garden. If you also have a large selection of neglected embossing folders  - you might like to join in the fun at Let’s Squash It!  - and be inspired to use them again…  Hope to see your lovely creations this month, Cheers

  3. I do not have a flicker account and one needs to have one to comment - will it be okay to make my comments on blogs only for this challenge? Thank you for letting me know - I will check back for the response. Have a nice day.

  4. Hi Gail - Jo and Gail have a bit in “da roolz” to address that. They say “If the entries before you are in galleries you can't comment on then please move on to the ones before these that you can comment on. You can of course comment on more than two if you want. So two comments for each of your entries please.” Hope that helps!
